Country Sugar: A Traditional and Natural Sweetener

Country sugar is a traditional, minimally processed form of sugar that has been produced using age-old methods in rural areas around the world. Unlike refined white sugar, country sugar is typically made from sugarcane or sugar beet through a process that preserves much of the natural molasses and minerals found in the raw plant material. This results in a product that not only offers a unique, rich flavor but also retains some of the nutritional elements that are often lost in modern, highly processed sugars. The production process of country sugar begins with harvesting mature sugarcane or sugar beet. The juice is extracted by crushing or pressing the plant material and then filtered to remove impurities.
